The 2nd WG meeting of YEAST4BIO was organized online on the 10th-11th of November by Dr. Igor Stuparevic from Zagreb University. More than 20 action participants presented their last results in line with the WG objectives. WG leaders highlighted the milestones to be achieved during the YEAST4BIO COST Action.
Presentations were followed with interesting scientific discussions related with use of non-conventional yeasts for the production of biofuels and biochemicals from different carbons sources. Last system and synthetic biology tools for yeast development were also debated.
